There’s no denying the talent and skill of the 2009-2010 Michigan State men’s basketball team, but recent losses and an injury to star Kalin Lucas has left the No. 10-ranked Spartans reeling. Just a week ago the team was poised to make a tournament run, but now the team’s fate is cloudy at best.
Villanova’s 90-72 thumping of Notre Dame on Wednesday is just the latest step in what is bound to be a gargantuan season for the Wildcats. And, with exception to week eight, Villanova has been getting the short end of the stick from the polls.
